It’s time for a little celebration as we welcome a new person to team Blu Sky! Simon has joined us as a Client Payroll Specialist.
We want you all to get to know him a bit better so we talked him into answering some quick questions about himself.

Where do you live?

Where have you previously worked?
I have worked in various roles ranging from a Company Director for a property development company Signrate Ltd to EAGA PLC, Virgin Money and my latest role was at Sage as an Outsource Payroll Admin. I processed payroll for clients for 5 years ranging from director only payrolls to PLCs with thousands of staff and gained a great deal of experience.
What will you be doing in your new role?
I will be a Payroll Specialist. I will be processing payroll and looking after auto enrolment for many Blu Sky clients. Basically I make sure clients team members are paid the right amount each month!
Why did you choose to come and work with us?
I chose to come and work for Blu Sky because it was an exciting opportunity to work for a forward-thinking accountancy practice. From my first meetings for the interviews here I could feel this was a business that is ambitious, wants to grow and it was a team I wanted to be apart of.
What do you like doing outside of work?
Outside of work I like watching films, going for food and when the weather is good going for long walks.
Last one, have you ever done anything unusual or for charity?
I have done charity work litter picking on Whitley bay beach and repainted a community centre.
