Workers or Employees?

Legislation tends to refer to ‘workers’ rather than employees as being entitled to entitled to minimum wage, holidays and holiday pay.

A worker may include a self-employed person contracting to personally perform work…be wary of automatically assuming that the self-employed don’t have the above entitlements. Ouch!
