One of the first is the introduction and maintenance of a register that captures and tracks all those individuals and/or legal entities involved in company affairs that have “significant influence or control”. This will largely take over the annual return process from June.
From 6th April, all companies must keep this register up to date and available for inspection. If there are none, a register must still be kept. It is a criminal offence if your company does not!!
For some companies with numerous investors this is likely to be a significant exercise to set up and maintain.
